Events and Production
Coaches View Productions provides professional videography production services for a wide variety of sports and sporting events, as well as performing arts. We cover everything from skills-specific footage and instructional analysis, to complete game coverage. We also produce video for performances that include concerts, recitals, and theater performances. Our professional staff can coordinate all of your high school, collegiate, and professional video recruiting needs. Our services are perfect for everyone, from professional dancers to college baseball recruits.






Recruiting and Marketing
In today's collegiate recruiting arena, the skills video is the most efficient and effective tool for marketing your athletic skills to coaches and scouts.  We create professional videos and DVDs that athletes as well as performing artists can use in the recruiting process.

There are specific rules and guidelines that you should remember when marketing a recruiting video:
  • Most coaches and recruiters are interested in skills footage whenever possible in addition to game highlights. A good skills video conveys overall athleticism, consistent repetitions, and fundamentals. Many sports require game highlights, but skills footage is extremely important.
  • We have specific video and skills guidelines for every sport, and know what coaches are looking for in recruiting videos.
  • Send video to coaches after you have made initial contact and they have responded with interest. Don't simply mail a DVD with a cover letter. Ensure the coach is interested and is requesting the video.
  • Ideally, your video should be 4-7 minutes in length. If longer, the DVD menu should contain navigation for coaches and scouts to select for viewing. Keep it short and flowing. Coaches don't have time to watch lengthy recruiting videos.

Capturing Your Video
We capture all of your video footage on the playing field, or using indoor facilities. Go to the Demos page to view example profile pages and recruiting videos.

However, if you already have video footage, then we can use your footage to create your video. Simply send us your video along with an easy to use video log. We can also review and suggest the best clips to use.

Creating the Video Log
If you supply your own video clips and footage, then you can easily specify those clips that you would like to use by creating your own video log. Simply fill in the Start Time and Stop Time counter readings for each clip that you would like to use. We do the rest. See the example video log to the right. If you need help with selecting the best footage, then we can evaluate and select what we feel is the best video

Professional Videography Package
Your basic video package includes the following:
  • 10 skills and game highlights DVDs
  • You own the video and can burn as many discs as you like. You can also specify and include music with your video, but should exercise caution with your music selection. Music should be background only and not become the focus of your video. The disc comes printed with your picture and contact information and you can select any picture for the cover. It can be a school picture, a game picture, or a graduation picture. Simply provide the picture of your choice, or we can take a picture for you.
  • Custom navigation menu
  • The DVD menu contains cover graphics, and provides coaches and scouts with navigation for viewing your video. The DVD can also include statistics and still images.
  • Custom Jewel Case covers
  • Your DVDs come with custom printed jewel case covers. The cover should include your name, contact information, and a picture of your choice. This can be a different picture than the disc or menu images.

Web and Player Profile Hosting
One of the most valuable tools we offer is our web hosting feature for your player profile and streaming video. Think of this as an online athletic and personal resume that includes everything from athletic history and statistics, to academic performance and contact information. We can include any information you prefer, in any format.  This is an extremely effective tool for marketing your talent and getting your information and video to coaches, scouts, and agents. No need to mail hard copies of DVDs and letters. You can simply email coaches, scouts, and agents a link and account password to access your personal profile. Those coaches, scouts, and agents can easily view your streaming video, player information, and any personal information that you choose to share. Your profile is password protected and completely secure.

It is important, however, to provide a high-quality DVD when a coach expresses interest and is requesting quality video. You should also carry DVDs with you when visiting schools.

Recruiting Correspondence
Not only can we provide professional videography services, we can also design and write your contact letters and any correspondence to prospective coaches, scouts, and agents. There are several methods that you can use to gain interest and responses from college coaches and recruiters. Saying the right things and asking the right questions with your initial contact is critical in your correspondence and recruiting process. Remember, coaches and scouts receive hundreds of letters and videos every year. You need to stand out from the others to get noticed, and how you communicate plays a vital role in this process.
